Snapshot Industrial designers imagine and develop physical objects and systems with the best possible usability, performance, value and appearance. Here you learn and apply design strategies in studio courses. All this is mashed up with marketing, economics, design management, and psychology to give you an edge in job placement and career advancement.
Study workshops allow students to visualize solutions, and the latest 3D computer-aided design software CAD is available to bring your ideas to life. Assignments mirror professional practice and hands-on education is emphasized.
There are at least two projects per semester, many involving input from corporate clients to ensure real-world relevancy. Sketching skills are stressed, and a thorough foundation in 3D CAD is a must. There is also week internship in the final year of your studies.
